After earning a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, my first job was roofing houses (thank you, economic recession of the early 90's). I eventually landed a position as a graphic designer and have spent the past 25+ years developing my skills in print design & production, identity development, art direction, web design, and user interface design. I was the Creative Director for a web development company for several years before starting my own design agency in 2016.
I'm not a native Rhode Islander but I've lived here long enough that I now give directions by where landmarks used to be. My wife, also a RISD grad, and I live in Providence and spend weekends indulging in our passions: yard sales and historical re-enactment as pirates.
As a designer and consultant I focus on helping businesses be clear, strong, and consistent in their visual communication. You can connect with me on LinkedIn or listen to me and my co-hosts discuss design and marketing on the Marketing Essentials Podcast.
